Growing up in Amritsar shaped me with strong values, a deep sense of community, and an appreciation for life’s little joys.
What’s one thing you love most about Amritsar?
What I love most about my hometown is the spirit of togetherness that shines through festivals, traditions, and everyday life.
I’ll always treasure the memory of seeing the Golden Temple at dawn, its reflection shimmering in the sacred waters.
Now living in Australia, I embrace new opportunities and experiences, but I often find myself treasuring the memories of home - the rooted connections and comforting rhythms of life in Punjab.
What’s the one thing you miss the most about Amritsar?
What I miss most are the shared meals, the laughter of my community, and the spiritual calm of the Golden Temple. Even the smallest reminders, a familiar song, a festive aroma, bring back waves of nostalgia.
Those memories continue to guide me, shaping who I am as I build new bonds and create a sense of belonging in my new home.
