Founded in 2014 by longtime friends Gauri Verma and Karuna Laungani, JODI is an Indian design studio known for bold prints, joyful colour, and a playful approach to contemporary fashion. Inspired by craft, culture, and travel, the brand brings India’s rich textile traditions into modern silhouettes with a distinctly global spirit. From whimsical motifs and hand-carved prints to intricate zardozi, pita work, and beadwork, the result feels expressive, contemporary, and designed to bring a little more colour and character to everyday life.

Behind the Brand
Every JODI piece is developed in close partnership with small-scale artisans across India, from hand-block printers in Jaipur and weavers in Bengal to dyers in Kutch. Designs are hand-sketched, block-printed, hand-dyed, embroidered, and finished by skilled craftspeople, with many pieces produced in limited quantities or made to order.
